Our son was diagnosed with Autism in 2002. At the time, Autism affected 1 in 500 children. As of May 2021, the CDC reported that 1 in 54 children are diagnosed with Autism. Once these children reach adulthood, less than 17% can live independently. Only 15% of the adults with Autism who have minimal language skills were able to even find work. We wanted a different outcome for our son. Our vision included a healthy lifestyle with meaningful work in a safe community. We searched and eventually found a non-profit called Partners Creating Community (PCC) who shared the same values and vision. Out of our collaboration Frog Hollow Farm was born.
